CONTACT CHELSEA, A FLAT FEE TRADEMARK ATTORNEY FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

Let's talk about what protecting your brand actually looks like.

This is a free, 30-minute strategy consultation, not a sales call. We'll talk through your business, what you're hoping to protect, and whether trademark registration makes sense for where you are right now. No pressure, no obligation.

What to expect during a Trademark Strategy Consultation

In our 30 minutes together, we'll talk through what you're building, what you're trying to protect, and what your options actually are. I'll ask questions to understand your business and what aspects of intellectual property are at play in your brand and work.

You can ask anything you want about the process of pursuing trademark registration, the cost, or the timeline. By the end of the call, you'll know whether trademark registration is the right next step, and what it would look like to move forward together.

After You Book

One quick step before we talk

Once you've booked your time, you'll receive a short, secure intake form to complete beforehand. It helps me understand your business and check for any conflicts of interest, so our call can go straight to what matters: your trademark strategy.

Common questions before you hire Trademarks With Chelsea

Is this consultation really free?

Yes. There's no charge for our 30-minute strategy consultation, and no obligation to move forward afterward.

Am I your client once I book this call?

Not yet. Booking a consultation doesn't create an attorney-client relationship. During our call, we'll discuss whether engaging me as your trademark attorney is the right fit. If it is, I'll send an engagement letter outlining the scope of work and flat fees to be paid to begin our work together. Until that engagement is in place, please don't share confidential information with me.

Do you handle state trademarks, licensing agreements, contracts, or trademark disputes?

No. My practice is exclusively transactional federal trademark work before the USPTO: searches, applications, registrations, and maintenance. I don't handle state-level trademark filings, licensing agreements, contract drafting, or litigation/disputes. If your situation falls into one of these categories, this consultation likely isn't the right fit.

What if I'm not ready to file yet?

That's a fine place to start. This call is a good opportunity to talk through timing and budget, so you know what to expect and can move forward when you're ready.

Can you help me if I live in [your state]?

Yes. Trademark law is federal law, which means it works a little differently than most legal services. I'm licensed by the State of Maine, and that license allows me to represent clients before the USPTO nationwide, in all 50 states, for federal trademark matters.
